Historique :	A la demande de la mairie qui projette de restaurer la cloche, la DRAC a fait venir Hervé Gouriou le 27 juillet pour examiner l'objet. Il s'agit d'une cloche de 1803, elle est ornée d'un Christ en croix avec Marie-Madeleine, d'un évêque, d'angelots et de divers décors. L'inscription indique que la cloche a été bénie l'an 1803 par le curé de Sermesse, le parrain étant Jean Antoine Gay, négociant et la marraine, Dame Marie Boyer. Le rapport d'Hervé Gouriou donne des conseils d'entretien et des remarques sur les projets de travaux. Il termine en soulignant l'intérêt d'une protection de la cloche considérant son ancienneté, la qualité de son épigraphie et son iconographie, du fait qu'il s'agit d'une cloche immédiatement postérieure à la période révolutionnaire et de la présence de pièces détachées cohérentes.
