Inscription : TE DEUM LAUDEAMUS D'un lointain passé, je reste seule survivante avec ma plus jeune soeur 'Catherine' qui chante encore au clocher de Bonnay et dont l'inscription est reproduite à mes côtés. J'étais dans l'église de Confrançon en 1675, la Révolution m'y a épargnée. Puis, en 1809, je suis venue habiter en cet édifice construit sur les bases de l'ancienne chapelle du château royal de Cortevaix. J'y voisinais avec celle existant déjà à cette place et qui, brisée par la Révolution fut deux fois refondu pour devenir 'Louise' en 1849. Usée par les années, ayant vu bien des bouleversements au niveau des hommes, j'ai chanté les joies et les peines de quinze générations, puis ai cédé la place à celle qui, depuis le 8 août 1961 'VOUS INVITE A LA LOUANGE DE L'ETERNELLE TRINITE'.
